Mayor’s appeal launched

Over a hundred residents and dignitaries turned up to the Miners Welfare Park in Bedworth to see Nuneaton and Bedworth Mayor Councillor Bob Copland launch his official appeal. People in Action first ever Carnival Float comes second

The sun was out and so were the crowds at Nuneaton Carnival which saw People in Action’s float of bedtime stories awarded second prize. This is the first time we have entered and were really pleased that all the hard work and effort of staff and customers was rewarded with such a fantastic achievement. Watch out next year we have our eye on first prize.


People in Action joined with The Great Western in Warwick to hold a music festival on Saturday June 29th. Over 500 people turned out to support the local charity and local bands donated their time for free. Funds raised went towards a sensory garden in Kenilworth and The Mat Davis Foundation.
