PIA at the Leamington Peace festival

For the second year running People in Action sponsored the Leamington Peace Festival. The peace festival is an event run by volunteers giving up their time for their community and we as a community based charity were pleased to support them. Well done to all the volunteers involved as it takes a lot of planning and hard work to hold an event like this!

Bedworth Community Gardens and the Mayor’s Café win Bedworth Society Award!

Bedworth Society’s answer to the Oscars saw People in Action win the award for Outstanding Environmental Improvement on Monday 1st June at the Old Meeting United Reformed Church in Bedworth.

High Sheriff visits People in Action!

We were privileged to have the High Sheriff of Warwickshire Janet Bell visit our services in Leamington. Janet had a tour of Orchard House in Northumberland Road, Leamington, a newly renovated property and was invited by the residents to have lunch which was provided by the Mayors Café.

Gardens Project Open Days!

This year Leasowes and Bedworth Community Gardens held their open days in May. There was fun to be had with Face Painting, food, a local choir, tombola and games on offer and not forgetting the great value and good quality plants on sale!
