Domiciliary Care
-
Support and care provided in your own home.
-
The
support can include personal care, shopping, going out, supervision,
domestic tasks, budgeting, social visits and leisure pursuits.
-
We
aim to provide support that enables people to be as independent as
possible. This usually means supporting people to do a task rather than
doing it for them.
-
As far as possible we provide support at times to suit the individual. We will always try to be flexible and responsive.
-
Most
of our customers are adults with learning disabilities. They may also
have physical disabilities or additional mental health needs. We are
happy to work with other groups of people but our approach is not
suited to short visits of less than an hour. - We do not generally work with children but we do provide support to young people (16-18) moving into adult services.
